Letter from CPT William Carroll:
Dear For The Troops:
I would like to thank you for your thoughtful care packages you have sent to my Military Advisory Team here in Afghanistan. As our nation is at war and Soldiers are deployed across the globe, your contribution to the health and welfare of those who serve our nation and their families is a special gift indeed.
I cannot adequately express in worads how grateful my team is when they receive these gifts during such stressful times in their lives. Your thoughtful gifts are well received. It is a blessing to be a part of such a caring and compassionate country. I hope you know the positive impact your simple acts of kindness have on my team.
Please accept the thanks of the entire Military Advisory Team. As yu go through your life and all that it brings you daily, may you experience many joys and blessings. I pray that you will remember one Soldier’s appreciaation of your service that went “above and beyond” the call of duty and will not be forgotten. You exemplify the best that America has to offer. Pleas accept this picture of my team as a small gift of our gratitude. I havae also enclosed a picture of mein mu uniform for Anthony to bring to his school. God bless you and God bless America.
Sincerely,William J. CarrollCaptain US ArmyMilitary Advisor Team 4
